1 Answer. Sorted by: 4. That two verses after the main verse of Ayatul-Kursi (255/2) are not a part of Ayatul-Kursi, but we sometimes read them for more sanctification and reward (thavab). The main verse (of Ayatul-Kursi) is: اللَّـهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا ZToVM.
